Mr. D has a wardrobe, or shall I say closet full of the all underwear he has been collecting over the years, and what a great way to remember your collection then to get some boudoir photos taken in them.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. D back in 2021! And in the matter of two months, he has been to us for two shoots now!
It is true what they say about boudoir, that a boudoir experience is something that everyone should experience at least once in their life, but it definitely gets more and more fun the more you do it!

It’s hard to say how many pairs he truly has, but I am going to guess in the 500s! Here’s a nice collection of some of the shots that we did for Mr. D last year.

Bra and panty sets are fabulous, and I find matching is best. This beautiful royal blue floral set is actually available in our client closet in a size medium. Miss N loved this piece and chose to compliment it with the other outfits she brought with her.
Topless with panties is another fan favourite that a lot of woman like trying, it’s so simple, and most women usually have a pair of panties that they absolutely love. Throw in some shoes or jewellery and it can add that extra something to your shoot.
Nude boudoir photos is becoming more and more common. And there are so many ways you can play with being naked. You can choose to do some more covered shots with the white sheet, or perhaps add in some body jewellery and heels to give you more of a sexy vibe (the black body jewellery you see here is available in our client closet and is custom piece made by our very own Sarina Rose). Opting in to add some thigh high socks is also a cute addition to your photos, and then simply doing your nude boudoir boudoirs as is another great idea.
Lastly she brought this amazing green corset with her to the shoot. Adding stockings like Miss N did to your outfit will give you that extra glam feel, and we even chose to do some artistic shots with a wine glass too.

After your first shoot, we find a lot of women come back with more ideas and new outfits and concepts that they are hoping on trying too.

This shoot was no different! Miss M was looking for some dark & moody lighting and was wanting to give our kitchen set a try this time. I just love this shoot, I am all about the dark and moody lighting lately, so this was right up my alley.
Personally I am in LOVE with the kitchen shots that we did, her white bra and panty set was the perfect match for this idea, and I just love how they turned out.
My second favourite is definitely the wet tank top look we did near the end of her shoot, add in our coloured light, and bam, something completely different. I’ve actually done quite a few “wet tank top” looks after Miss M’s shoot, and I think it is becoming one of my favourite things to try.

When Sachi and Mack asked me to do some couples photos to capture their love in time I was so excited. I love shooting boudoir but there is something extra magical when I get to work with couples. Helping tow people create beautiful memories that capture their love and intimacy is a truly special experience.
Over the 9 years I have been shooting boudoir I have worked with quite a few couples, but never really promoted couples shoots because we where always so focused on the work we do with women. Over the past year I have worked with more couples then ever before, and I am realizing one how much I love it, but also how much the couple actually get out of the experience. Seeing couples connect in a new way and sharing such an interment part of themselves is so inspiring.
Now that I have a few couples that will let me share their images with you, you will be seeing a lot more of the love on our page. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I love the versatility of doing bathtub shoots. By adding different ingredients to the water we can create looks from white to black and every colour in-between. This is a recent shoot done with Miss L and i’m so in love with how it turned out. The dark water is so mysterious and goes so well with my witchy model.

Boudoir Photo Shoot Preparation - Pink Blush Photography
We get a lot of questions before women come in for their photo shoot. One commonly asked question we get is how can I prepare for my photo shoot? Besides a few beauty tips we can give to prep yourself (stay tuned for another blog post coming out soon), here are some things that you can do before your appointment.
We get a lot of questions before women come in for their photo shoot. One commonly asked question we get is how can I prepare for my photo shoot? Besides a few beauty tips we can give to prep yourself (stay tuned for another blog post coming out soon), here are some things that you can do before your appointment.
1) Research
Before your photos shoot, we suggest going through our Blog & Instagram page for inspiration. These are both great mediums to use as we post the most images on these two platforms. Our work can not only give you inspiration on what kind of poses you might like to try but can also help give you some ideas on what kind of outfits to wear. If you’ve never done a boudoir shoot before, this is a great way to give you lots of ideas as to what to expect and what to do. We also suggest saving some of the images you see online that really speak to you. This way you can show your photographer these images and we will do our best to incorporate all your pose idea / suggestions into your shoot to ensure you get exactly what you were hoping for.
2) Consultation
Step number two is not a mandatory step, however, it can be a great idea of something to book before your shoot itself. Especially if you find you have lots of questions or are very nervous about having your boudoir shoot done. Consultations are 30 minute appointments you book with us a minimum of one week prior to your photo shoot. During a consultation we go over what to expect, give you ideas on outfits, talk about pricing in more detail, give you a tour of the studio, and answer all questions and worries you may have.
3) Raid your wardrobe / Go Shopping
In an hour shoot, we will usually use 1-3 outfit changes. Before going shopping I always suggest to raid your wardrobe to see what cool articles of clothes or lingerie pieces you might already have. You may have forgotten about something that you already own! So it is a great idea to go through your closet and dresser to see what you might have already. Second, if you don’t have enough outfits, then head out and go shopping! After you look through our blog / instagram you should have a a good idea of some of the outfits that you might like to try, or even one outfit idea. Once you get to the store itself, I always suggest trying on a number of different styles and outfits to really get a feel for what you might like on yourself.

4) Hair and Makeup Research
If you are getting hair and makeup done for your photo shoot, I also suggest going through Pinterest / Instagram and looking up some “Boudoir Photo Shoot Makeup Looks.” Bringing a photo to your shoot to show your makeup artist gives them a great idea as to what kind of look you would like to try for your shoot. Stay tuned for a new blog post coming out sometime in the next few months about different makeup looks that you can try for your shoot.
5) Night Before Prep
The night before your photo shoot make sure you are ready to go! Gather up all of your outfits and pack them away so that everything is ready to go o the day of your shoot. Nerves may be running high in anticipation for your shoot, so packing the night before can help you to remember to bring everything for your shoot. Don’t forget to look at some of your own heels / jewelry that you might like to use at your shoot and pack those up as well. Make sure your photo inspiration ideas are easily accessible on your phone. Lastly, before you go to bed lather up with some lotion, the more moisturized your skin is the better it will look in photos, so do a good coat before you go to bed.
6) Morning Of
The day has come! Excitement is at a high, but thank god you packed up all your goodies the night before. Drink some water and make sure to have something to eat before you come for your shoot. One last time for moisturizing as well, so lather up before you leave the house.

I don’t know about all of you but at times I feel like an absolute mess. I can be forgetful, disorganized, I don’t always put my laundry away. I eat the things that I shouldn’t, and I don’t want to do the little tasks that make my life flow better. Despite all this I have to remember all the good things. I’m a loving kind hearted person. I seek to find the beauty I everyone. I’m a creative being who’s talents help others. I’m a really good wife and dog mom. So even though there’s days I feel like Im failing at adulting I’m still kicking ass at being a good human.
