Miss T Client Review ] Boudoir Photographer Edmonton

There are many many perks to doing the type of work I do but the best part really is being able to help other women. Creating a different view point for women to see themselves seems so effortless to me, that sometimes I forget how much a simple shift in perspective can forever change someone. I often joke about how I play barbies for a living, that I get to dress ladies up in cute outfits and place them in my doll house for pretty pictures. But the work I do is really not that frivolous. I get to change how women see themselves. I get to help repair the damage caused by societies ridiculous beauty standards. I get help women heal from unhealthy relationships. I get to help women celebrate their accomplishments. What the observer sees might just be pretty pictures, but the real result of my work is a woman one step further on her healing journey. Here is a little glimpse into the journey of Miss T.

“In my adult life I have been 190 pounds, 125 pounds, and everything in between. I have been through a lot of traumatic experiences, and I hate to admit it but there was a time when I was so broken down I really hated myself. I came to the point when I realized that I needed to learn myself again, be on my own, and fall back in love with the woman I was and was going to become. The last 5 years have been a healing journey for me and it led me to my wonderful husband who I surprised with these photos. He is SO proud of me for doing these (and thankful because he loves them haha). The work I’ve done has made me into the role model I dreamt of being for my two daughters. Teaching them to love themselves at every stage and despite what mean words people will say to them. They love my squishy tummy because they know that’s how they were made, and they know I’m proud of it. One day if they have kids of their own I hope that they remember it is a part of life and that it’s such a tiny part of who they truly are. You have been amazing to work with and made me feel so comfortable doing something that was completely out of my comfort zone, thank you for doing what you do!!! “ - Miss T
