Flashback to Miss A’s shoot in November! I am in love with the variety of outfits she brought, her look compliments all the different vibes we were going for; Edgy & Pretty.

Here are a few words from her about her experience with us:

A few short months ago I found myself newly single, and in need of a confidence boost.  I had never had a professional photography session before but randomly found the Pink Blush Boudior website and decided to enquire about a session with the dynamic duo that is Sarina and Calie.  On the day of my session I arrived with low expectations (I have never been particularly photogenic) and found myself slightly (probably more than slightly) nervous.  All of this was entirely unnecessary all due to Sarina and Calie.  While sipping a glass of wine I was able to relax while Sarina worked her magic on my hair and makeup.  Afterwards and feeling as if I at least looked the part I made my way over to Calie where the rest of my nerves quickly dissipated.  Calie will talk you through every pose, figure out all of the best angles, make sure your outfit is perfect and your hair remains tousled.  I left my session tired but happy, and with a serious confidence boost.  The only thing better than how I felt following my session was getting to see my finished pictures... which were: amazing.  I highly encourage any and every woman to have a boudior shoot with these ladies!  Your confidence (as well as anyone in particular you might show the pictures to) will seriously thank you.

Miss S } Edmonton Boudoir Photography

I just love when a girl comes in to the studio with a super unique look and vibe to her. Miss S was no different, with all of her fabulous tattoos and bright orange hair, it all added to her boudoir photos.

Sarina helped her choose a bold makeup look that would compliment her vibe, and the dark eye really adds an extra element of edgy to the images. Even the outfits we ended up selecting compliment her look nicely, the combo of the red romper with her hair and plus the mismatched bra and panty set actually works really well here, I am loving the colour flow that they put together. Lastly, when you have lots of tattoos you can’t go wrong with trying out the naked look! It lets all her tattoos speak for themselves.

Bath Tub Boudoir Photos } Edmonton Photographer

Miss C came to our studio back in August and wanted to try out our bath tub set in our Wet Room. Most women don’t know that we have a shower and tub set available at the studio, any one can use it, just send us a message if you are interested and we will make sure it is free for your shoot.

Wanting to try a couple different looks in the tub, she opted for a see through white tank top and some nudes. I am so happy she was willing to let us show her images on our blog, as I think a lot of woman steer away from the tub set as they think they have to be naked, but this white tank look is a great example of what can be done in our bath tub set but a little more clothed. We will shoot to whatever your comfort level is, so if you like the idea of trying out the wet room but want to be more covered, then we are game for anything!

The white tank photos are definitely some of my favourite ones that i’ve ever done in the tub set, but even the more naked ones we did with Miss C turned out great. She rocked this set and makes the “coming out dripping” look, look so effortless.

The Transformation of Miss Bruni } Pink Blush Boudoir Edmonton Photography

Over the years of being in the business of boudoir I have had the opportunity to photography many women who are documenting a weight loss journey, and in this case Miss Smith’s transformation included an impressive amount of personal growth. It truly is amazing what a person can achieve with hard work, dedication and real honesty with themselves. I was so excited to photograph Miss Bruni for the 3rd time this year and show her how much she has grown in confidence and sexuality. The physical changes are noticeable too, but sometimes they aren’t the most relevant. Her is what she had to say about her experience and journey.

“For me, this photoshoot was a magical experience. My life and my body have changed drastically over the last year. I have focused on health and my body has transformed after hours in the gym lifting weights and changes to my diet. My personal life changed radically as well in that time. I have embraced and incorporated my true energy and aura about me that includes a whole lot of fire and sexuality. 

I began this exploration a year ago when Sarina captured me then. I was just coming into my own confidence and body after 2 children and ending a long marriage. 

The experience of this shoot is a culmination of the changes I have made and embracing that sensual fire. Sarina was able to capture both my new inner essence and the difference in my body to fully express the woman I continue to become. One full of passion, light, and femininity. She made me comfortable, made me laugh, and made me smolder when I needed to. The resulting pictures are breathtaking. I am grateful to her for continuing to document my journey and to shoot the most beautiful pictures that have ever been taken of me.” Miss Bruni

We try to mix up our posing ideas as often as possible but sometimes we get girl’s who request something a little different than what we normally do and we love that! Keeping us on our toes helps us grow as photographers so don’t be afraid to ask for something a little different for your shoot.

I cannot stress enough how fun a boudoir shoot is! And how all women should really try it at least once in their life and that doing it for yourself is the best way you can treat yourself. Miss K had done a boudoir shoot a few years ago with another photographer but wanted to treat herself to another shoot! Really embodying what she liked and felt sexiest in was key, and when I saw her long sleeved lacey body suit I told her that this outfit was a must do! We had lots of fun trying new things and poses, check out her shoot below.

Nude Photography - Miss C

Sometimes we get clients who request to shoot mostly nude photos, which is 100% okay with us! Actually, naked is one of our favourite outfit choices! The fabulous Miss C came to us back in July for a shoot with us and requested naked and sometime a little more sexual in nature. We will photograph to whatever your comfort level is so if you want to try sometime a little different let us know!
