Boudoir Photography. Natural beauty is just stunning, and after having a child, it just shines through even more. Hannah came into the studio back in April and kept her photo shoot very simple. After recently having a baby she wanted to embrace her new body and wasn't shy nor afraid to show it off. She brought a few outfits to try out but wanted to do mostly black and white nudes. It was so empowering photographing her and seeing the confidence she has in herself. She loved her new "mummy tummy" she said, and I loved that about her! I find woman now are afraid to have boudoir photos done after having a child because of the way their body now looks, when really they shouldn't be! I have a lot of people ask me why my clients want to come in for boudoir photos? What benefit do the women get to of the photos? I think most of the women who come here at first want to do something nice for their husbands, or boyfriends, but not all the women have a partner. Women today are constantly reminded of what is sexy in our society, and many women don't feel they add up. Professional Boudoir photos help to change that. When a women comes to our studio she is pampered and praised. Her mommy or career woman cape is hung at the door, so she can slip into a set of 5 inch stiletto heels, and pearls. By the time she is walking out the door she feels sexy, confident, and wondering why she didn't do it sooner. After a shoot at Pink Blush we bring the ladies back to see there images with their photographer. Usually women are most nervous for the reveal, but shocked at how beautiful their photos turned out. Most women do not look at themselves as being sexy, but when the proof is put right in front of you, it's hard to ignore. Many of the clients we see at our studio come from outside the Edmonton area, like Terina who came to see us all the way from Fort McMurrey. I just love shooting in our new studio. The natural window light creates beautiful soft images perfect for boudoir. Kacey was one of our clients from a resent Marathon session. Like most women who come to our studio she was looking for sexy, but classy images to use as a gift for her man. After having kids it is common that women don't feel as sexy as they used to. Boudoir is a great way to redefine yourself image after having kids. I find many women realize that their stretch marks aren't as bad as they think they are and even if they still have a few extra pounds to lose they still are beautiful. Im so excited to show you some of the shots from our new studio in Sherwood Park. It has been a long moving process but Calie and I are finally getting settled in our new space. I think our favourite part of our new space so far is our great big windows. Our old space didn't have any window light, now we have so much we don't know what to do with it. Jezelle was one of our first clients in our new space. She brought along some fun props like her boyfriends jersey and dress shirt. To really add some pop she brought bubbles. I love the bubbles... Edmonton Photographer. Another photo shoot from our hotel marathon! Karolina wanted to try something different for her photo shoot, and let Brenna our hair and makeup stylist do whatever she thought would work best with the outfits that she had. She LOVED her hair and makeup and so did we! With a couple of her own outfits, and using one of our corsets, Karolina was ready for her photoshoot. She was so easy to direct and to photograph, it really shows through in her photos.
